Overview:
Great Day Improvements – IT Program Manager (Hybrid – Remote with up to 25% travel – U.S. only)
As an IT Program Manager, you will be in a highly collaborative position responsible for working with project managers and program sponsors to deliver our enterprise-wide digital transformation program. This program includes revamping our public websites, CCaaS, CRM, ERP and other digital transformation projects and initiatives. In this role you will partner with sponsors and stakeholders to understand business objectives and strategy to effectively structure programs and align on program goals. You will be the POC and macro strategist for the program and projects. You will also collaborate with project managers to ensure each project remains strategically aligned and on track to hit major milestones. You will manage dependencies between projects, and address issues and risks that may affect the program.

The IT Program Manager, will report directly to the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO). You will be responsible for end-to-end Program Management, including planning, directing, and monitoring activities of project teams involved in initial analysis, design, development, and implementation of programs.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to and maintain the enterprise-wide transformation program, objectives and roadmap.
Support the development and monitoring of the implementation project portfolio, including project planning, resource management, and budget management and post-go-live support plan to ensure a smooth transition of the project into ongoing support operations.
Leading program performance communications with program and business sponsors to guide critical decisions and IT partnerships
Facilitate meetings with appropriate IT staff and internal / external partners to devise a solution/workflow/prototype that will address and satisfy the business requirements.
Coordinating measurement and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) for programs and projects
Build, foster, and manage relationships with internal and external partners, workstream team leads, vendor partners, and key decision-makers across the organization.
Directing program activities with 3rd party providers, managing integration of vendor tasks and deliverables, as well as tracking contractual obligations
Support the identification and tracking of risks and issues raised throughout the project lifecycle, including developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans with the workstream team leads.
Anticipating program issues and identifying dependencies and interdependent projects to successfully deliver programs and associated projects
Managing program financials, including budget, actuals, forecast and variance. Collaborating on refining program estimates and budgets from onset to close.
Conducting interim and post-project reviews to assess needs, provide recommendations, and create improvements for future projects
Managing change requests in accordance with change control guidelines
Qualifications:
5+ years of related experience in project and/ or program management
Demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend a broad array of initiatives to direct program scope, requirements gathering and change management to meet changing Business and IT objectives
Proficient knowledge of program management concepts, from planning and inception, through implementation and support
Candidates must be comfortable developing and deploying company-wide initiatives, programs, and processes, managing multiple priorities, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Successful
individuals will possess a proven history of, anticipating
challenges and providing solutions that add value.
Experience and/or interest in process re-engineering and/or experience design.
Proven leadership in the indirect supervision/coaching of project teams comprised of multiple levels of employees, including both professionals and management
Superb communication skills, with the ability to engage an audience across a broad range of technical expertise and/or business acumen
Demonstrated high degree of collaboration; works well with others in team environments as it relates to delivering projects and programs
Strong meeting facilitation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with any level of senior leader participants
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Prior experience managing large scale, transformational programs
Experience working within large organizational programs spanning multiple business areas and sponsors
Experience managing and being managed in a matrixed reporting structure
Knowledge of Project and Program Management tools
Experience in agile methodology and CI/CD principles
Requirements:
Available to work across time zones and invest in building a new ecosystem for a growing entrepreneurial business
Able to travel as needed, at maximum 25% of the time
