This position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities/work queues and assignments to implement and enforce IT standards, policies and/or procedures for the IT sustainment team responsible for Workday’s security. The Workday Security & Compliance Lead will work closely with the Workday sustainment workstreams, release management and testing teams to ensure integrity is maintained in the Workday security processes. The lead participates in/on a variety of meetings, groups, and/or committees to communicate and confer about process analysis of existing procedures and systems, determine cost/benefit and complexities of new processes and projects, prepare for testing, discuss the roll-out of new projects and software releases and upgrades, and/or discuss other applicable issues as it relates to security. The role will be responsible for the following: Maintains the Workday data security and IT General control environments. Regularly reviews the Sentara IT Security Office policies and procedures to ensure Workday security controls are aligned with the organizational policies. Responsible for creating, documenting, and maintaining proper SOX and/or internal controls. Conduct internal security audits and participate in SOX and/or internal audits, verify proper security protocols are being followed across impacted workstreams. Provides backup support for security changes where needed. Manages scope and prioritization of work assignments, paying strong attention to detail and deadlines. Monitors change requests to ensure best practices are being utilized. Ensures team responds to and addresses reported problems pertaining to the service performance and reliability. Security Management across Finance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain Represent IT as related to Workday security support in partnership with business support resources. Act as owner of all assigned Workday security deliverables. Participates as a member of the team involved in planning, resource allocation, projects, policies, and systems that impact the business. Provide expert level knowledge of Workday Security framework. Provide 2/3 level security support (where required). Work on multiple enhancements / projects and other duties as assigned. Understand security and data privacy standards. Reviews release notes and works with Workstream team resources and Release Management team to assess impacts and coordinate security testing. Log / maintain tickets in incident tracking system as appropriate. Job Responsibilities Ownership of end-to-end security across Workday modules which requires a deep understanding of Workday security. Participates in/on a variety of meetings, groups, and/or committees to communicate and confer about process analysis of existing procedures and systems, determine cost/benefit and complexities of new processes and projects, prepare for testing, discuss the roll-out of new projects and software upgrades. Understanding of Workday security structure, Workday reporting, Excel, Understanding of Sentara Sustain team and reporting structures. Good understanding of Workday domain and business process security. Background in audit/compliance recommended. Qualifications Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) – Preferred. Required to have a bachelor’s degree. Required to have 10 years’ experience in related fields of Healthcare, Information Technology & Project Required to have experience in Workday.
