Job Description In this role you will be part of the Global Commercial Applications – Duracell team and will be working closely with regional and global Trade Promotions process owners and as well with the rest of the Global IT colleagues. A successful candidate for this role thrives working collaboratively with different cultures and time zones across the globe. The IT Solution Architect is responsible for coordinating all development, design, deployment, and support activities. Manages vendors supporting the applications. The Solution Architect will work closely with the business leaders to align with their strategic goals and build a framework that will facilitate the execution of those goals such as developing projects and change requests. This role reports directly to the Commercial Applications Manager. The desired candidate will possess strong leadership experience, a proactive attitude, attention to detail and organization, analytical and conceptual thinking skills and interpersonal and customer service skills. They will require the ability to influence people from various functions including sales, demand planning, finance, and others. Responsibilities Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems. Identify opportunities for short-term and long-term process improvements, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics. Work with business units to develop solutions that align with business strategies and goals, and to improve current delivered solutions. Build and migrate software and services across the organization. Develop and support interfaces to other applications. Ability to manage and influence users from various functional areas (sales, demand planning, finance, etc.) Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end-state deliverable, re-engineering of business processes if necessary. Translate end-user requirements into detailed technical specifications. Support the production environment including critical incident management. Ensure the quality of the solutions provided to the business. Manage the change control process for the Salesforce platform. Configure and test all configurations for Sales Force when there are changes, upgrades with the support of vendors in collaboration with the Business Analyst. Incident management with manage service providers. Effectively lead indirect resource teams, including contractors and other third-party resources and other outsourced application providers. Qualifications 3-5 years of expertise in the areas of Trade Promotions Management (sales promotions with customers such as supermarkets, independent stores, distributors), Customer P&L Contribution Margin and other pillars of Sales Forecasting such as pricing, volume, demand planning integration. Strong business knowledge in Order to Cash processes including the following areas: Pricing, Rebate Processing, Free Goods, Pricing Agreements, Contract Pricing, Accounts Receivable. Experience in Customer Relationship Management functionality Some relevant experience in managing applications and third-party vendors. Knowledge and experience with Salesforce platform is required. One full lifecycle experience with Salesforce TPM. Experience with other trade solutions like SAP TPM, Exceedra, XTEL is desired. Relevant experience with SAP ECC or S4 is desired. Project leadership and management. Knowledge of IT security principles, data protection regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other languages are a plus. Strong collaboration skills demonstrating the ability to share knowledge, accept and provide feedback.
