Job Description: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer with IMS (Information Management System) expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe development, including working with IMS databases, and will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining mainframe applications to meet business requirements. Essential Function Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using IMS. Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements and design solutions. Write and optimize COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe programming languages. Develop and maintain IMS database structures and access methods. Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of mainframe applications. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and developers. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mainframe development and IMS. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
