About the project, Are you ready for an exciting challenge in software development and support? We are looking for a dedicated Software Developer. This job focuses on the maintenance and diagnostic of issues which were reported by users in their daily use of our standard software. You’ll find a variety of tasks, a great team, and the flexibility to work from anywhere in Poland.
Your responsibilities, Learn and Apply a Special Scripting Language: You will be introduced to an event-driven, proprietary scripting language used for the maintenance and optimization of our software. It has similarities to JavaScript, PHP, Python, and others. An experienced colleague will support you in this process., Teamwork with the Help Desk: Collaborate with our Help Desk to analyze application-based processes and develop solutions for arising issues., Optimize Existing Code: Independently analyze and improve our code to make our software more efficient and powerful., Data Analysis with SQL: Utilize your SQL skills to contribute to data analysis and manipulation., Analyze Log Files: Identify and solve problems by analyzing and interpreting log files.
Education and Experience: You have completed an education in computer science or a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and you have experience in software development., Senior-Level Expertise: We are looking for a senior professional who has had a strong career and is now interested in a role that involves detailed work, deep dives into tricky problems, and meticulous problem-solving. We welcome candidates who are 50 or older and prefer a stable environment over the latest technological trends., SQL Skills: You are proficient in SQL and have practical experience in data manipulation., Analytical Skills: Analyzing and optimizing code, as well as reading and interpreting log files, are among your strengths., Teamwork and Communication Skills: You enjoy working in a (distributed) team and have good communication skills.
