Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is looking for a Manager of Marketing Data Analytics to help deliver in-depth analyses that influence numerous aspects of our performance. You will serve as an important business advisor to senior business decision-makers by extracting the appropriate data and then translating analytic insights into opportunities to expand the business. You must identifybig-picture marketing projects that align with our strategic goals, ensuring our marketing spend is used. You will support all marketing channels, working with team members to propose big picture strategies for analytics regarding how to measure marketing success and creating analytics team goals to support these strategies. This includes gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports/dashboards, ad-hoc analyses of marketing and product acquisition projects, and proactive identification of relevant optimization opportunities. Working with multiple areas of the business including Integrated Marketing, Product, Creative, Finance, Technology and Business Operations. You are a strategic thinker with technical expertise in data, reporting, and analytical approaches and how they can be applied to improve business decision-making and outcomes. You will be a partner with the marketing team and will excel in an environment where data collection, creative solutioning, exploration and identification of opportunities, and delivery of insight are expected functions of the position. This is a hands-on analytical role and technical skills will be assessed. What you’ll be doing You will lead a team of analysts to inspire creativity in marketing strategies by experimenting with new data-driven approaches, always looking for ways to improve effectiveness. Identify opportunities to maximize acquisition spend and use predictive analytics to anticipate market changes and customer needs, helping we seize opportunities. Extract the appropriate data from the data warehouse, combine the data finding insights into relevant analysis, ensuring that marketing strategies are informed by accurate data. Evaluate and analyze comprehensive member activity from marketing traffic sources. Such as on-site engagement behavior, acquisition rates, communication touch points, billing persistency and correlate with member retention and revenue to provide applicable insight to business leaders. Lead weekly high-level analysis for marketing team members around traffic/audience forecasting, growth and engagement, and strategies and tactics to increase marketing growth. Use analytical methods to identify and analyze trends, patterns, and relationships in the data provide answers to acquisition and re-engagement quality. Provide relevant insights from analyses to positively impact spend efficiency and revenue. Leverage analytical tools to understand end-to-end customer behavior from marketing sources and conduct pathing analysis to increase customer experience, e.g. website and app user behavior, email engagement, conversion analysis, and marketing effectiveness. Help forecast traffic trends, orders, marketing spend and company revenue. Deliver quick turnarounds on dashboards, identify trends and/or issues within data sets, and make recommendations to influence business decisions and investments. Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement a high-quality infrastructure of quantitative data to track and collect important data to answer complex business questions and improve acquisition performance. Present analytical results and insights to business partners to answer strategic questions and influence business decisions. 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, forecasting, or business planning with emphasis on analytical modeling, quantitative reasoning, and metrics reporting, preferably from an internet environment. Strong knowledge of relational database theory and proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL code. Proficient with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx) and real-time dashboard development. You will have understanding and experience with relational data sets, data warehouses, data mining and data analysis techniques. Strong analytical and creative thinker with the capacity to provide insight into online behaviors, activities and identify opportunities to improve the online experience. Experience with leading and managing a team of analysts, promoting a collaborative environment, with quantifiable results. Experience with Marketing channel strategies and campaign performance (SEM, Broadcast-Linear and OTT, Digital/Mobile App, Affiliate, Partner). Experience with statistical/financial analysis, budgeting and spend strategy exercises. You can uncover trends and spot anomalies. Compelling communication and influencing skills and participation in winning the support of management and influencing the course of major strategic decisions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in deadline-driven atmosphere. Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver, and team player who can multi-task several priorities simultaneously.
