Job Description In this position, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients calling with questions or seeking assistance related to their patient account. Specific duties may include submitting follow up requests to the third-party units. review claim denials, rejections and underpayments. utilize third-party web based platforms to perform skip tracing searches in an attempt to obtain location information. Communicating issues and offering suggestions to Management for process improvements. understand and applying federal and state rules and regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, PCI Compliance regulations, PII/PHI Security. documenting account activity in the Patient Accounting system. performing other tasks as needed. Strong typing (60WPM), MS Office and communication skills Ability to work effectively under pressure; to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment Excellent verbal, written and communication skills required. SMS Invision, I-series, Meditech, Epic, Cerner-Sorian experience a plus as is familiarity with multiple payers (Non-Government, No – Fault and Workers Comp).
