Job Title: Medical Coder, CPC – US Full Time Remote Position Job Overview: Revele is a leading EHR revenue cycle management service that assists healthcare providers across the U.S. with end-to-end revenue cycle management services. We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of medical coding experience, be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), and knowledge and experience working in ASC healthcare. This is a full-time, remote position, and the candidate must reside in the US. Responsibilities: Has the ability to read and dissect operative notes to apply correct ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II and modifier coding assignment Knowledge of types of surgery performed in the ASC healthcare setting Coding of ancillary procedure codes, as well as drugs and biologicals Rules for reimbursement of services provided at ASCs (multiple, device-intensive, and/or discontinued procedures). Rules for Reimbursement is Durable Medical Equipment Selecting the appropriate CPT codes for surgical cases and cross walking to the appropriate anesthesia code Proper use of modifiers common for anesthesia cases Determining time units and total units for anesthesia cases Regulatory rules established under federal and/or state standard committees Medical terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Knowledge of Professional (physician charges) and Facility (technical charges) billing Enter charges into the billing system Work with billing team on denials such as reviewing coding and records to be sent for appeals Requirements: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required Minimum of 5 years of medical coding experience Knowledge of Medicare Advantage Plans, Federal, State, and Payer regulations Ability to work remotely from home in the US Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with providers Must be a team player and work well with a variety of coworkers Computer literate Experience and knowledge of eCW preferred Revele Benefits: Full-time remote position – work from home (WFH) Flexible work environment Paid Vacation Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans Life Insurance 401k
