The Member Services Analyst is responsible for preparing and presenting Market Basket analysis and making key recommendations to drive incremental value for all Customers and to further Customers’ purchasing compliance goals. This includes preparing and reviewing opportunity analysis, product-matching analysis; assist in the preparation of executive level reporting. This role is responsible for adhering to established processes and standards that have been put in place. Responsibilities:Prepare product matches for contracted items, and complete Market Basket Analyses comparing competitive programsAnalyze Reporting and Compliance tools using Excel and MS AccessUnderstand aspects of Foodservice GPO’s manufacturer and distributor contracts, review analysis on competitiveness of Foodbuy programs and recommend program changes to maintain competitivenessPrepare key business analysis to assist functional leaders in decision-making processesInvestigate trends and variances compared to prior periods and forecastAd hoc analysis and special projects to support continued growth of businessPrepare executive level summaries based on analysis Qualifications:Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPointBachelor’s degree preferred; 2+ related experience may be considered in lieu of formal educationFoodservice product knowledge preferredFinancial or trend analysis experienceSupplier and customer interaction experiencePurchasing/procurement experience preferredDistribution or foodservice experience is preferred Minimal travel required (typically to the Corporate office in Alpharetta, GA office)Excellent communication and customer relationship skills are requiredExcellent written communication skillsDetail-orientedAnalytical problem solvingFlexible/Adapts well to changeCollaborative – works well as a member of a teamStrong verbal and written communications skillsCustomer service focus: Value customers.
