Title :Network Engineer Location : SFO California ( Remote) Roles & Responsibilities: – Ø Configure and support network and security products. Ø Manage and maintain all Network devices configurations. Ø Suggest network upgrades and hardware reconfigurations to avoid repetitive issues. Ø Provide technical support and help reduce issues by providing long term fix. Ø Assist with network study, traffic analysis and the preparation of forecast reports. Ø Recommend modification to the network configurations which will help reduce costs and add value to the customer. Ø Provide expert-level hands on network infrastructure support for the enterprise-wide data communications network. Mandatory Knowledge Area :- Ø Cisco Routing – Protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, basics of MPLS, VRF, MPBGP, Multicast. Ø Cisco Switching – STP, VTP, HSRP, VRRP, Modular Switch Hardware, VLAN, Trunk, Port-channel, Loop Prevention techniques, IOS Upgrades Ø Cisco Nexus Switches – vPC, VDC, M card, F card, upgrades Ø Cisco Wireless and Cisco Prime – General Management and troubleshooting of Wireless devices and basic knowledge on operating Prime Ø Checkpoint Gaia – ClientS,URL Filtering/Application, Inspection, Policy, Traffic Analysis, Smart Monitor, Alerting Ø Cisco ASA Firewall – VPN, IPSEC, ACL Filtration, NAT Good to Have Knowledge Area: – Ø Cisco Stealth watch – analyzing NetFlow Traffic Ø VMware NSX – Managing NSX Firewall Ø Infoblox – General Management and IP Reservation procedures Ø SolarWinds – NPM, NCM, UDT, Managing Nodes, Creating Alerts and policies Ø Microsoft Visio – Hands on practice on designing Network Topologies.
