Your Responsibilities As a Part-Time Student-Product Engineering-Remote for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, Iowa, you will + Perform in-depth statistical analysis on tabular data sets pertaining to CI/CD test data related to performance and other relevant metrics + Apply statistical techniques and methodologies to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data to derive actionable insights + Develop and maintain interactive visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders + Enhance and create tools and features that enable replaying engineering logs and simulated/augmented logs of real environments This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas. What Skills You Need + Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, data science, or mathematics; others may apply + Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university + Graduation date of December 2024 or later + Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above + Available to work 16-20 hours weekly during the academic year + Available to work 30-40 hours weekly during the summer semester + Available to work 100% remote during the spring, summer and fall semesters, with onsite in Urbandale, Iowa, during the summer a plus + Proficient with Python + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail + Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders What Makes You Stand Out + Available to work onsite during the summer semester or travel onsite (up to 10%) + Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Shiny in R + Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools + Experience with Docker + Experience with AWS solutions + Experience with Pandas and Django + Experience with website frontend development, especially using Flask and/or Dash + Experience with Computer Vision/Machine Learning At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
