- Lead product planning and strategy sessions, leveraging your understanding of cybersecurity trends and market needs.
- Collaborate closely with a small, agile development team and designer, to prioritize and guide product features and enhancements.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and incorporate insights into product development.
- Draft comprehensive user stories that include value statements, success criteria, and test cases, to guide development and ensure product-market fit.
- Follow up on product requests and emergencies diligently, ensuring issues are acknowledged promptly and stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
- Occasionally step in to test product functionality, especially when QA resources are stretched, to ensure releases meet quality standards.
- Take the initiative to identify process gaps or documentation needs, and drive efforts to address these proactively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product management, ideally within the cybersecurity or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of both technical and business perspectives in product development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage expectations of various stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in drafting detailed user stories, value propositions, success criteria and test cases.
- A keen eye for identifying process improvements and a proactive approach to implementing solutions.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and challenges is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A team player with a collaborative mindset, willing to pitch in when needed to support testing or other tasks to keep projects moving forward.
