Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAFe Product Owner to join our team and support our automotive customer in their Agile transformation journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile and SAFe, with experience in Agile transformations and supporting teams to achieve their business goals. As a PO, you will be responsible for setting and building in development goals to our agile teams in accordance with stakeholders’ expectations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Main tasks
- Responsible for maintaining the product backlog for an agile development team and creating a medium-term development plan (roadmap) that is in line with stakeholders’ expectations
- Responsible for defining and prioritizing user stories or features within the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the corporate and/or the program strategy
- Responsible for ensuring that the product meets both functional and non-functional expectations. Ensure that the maximum value is always delivered during product development, considering the product life cycle
- Actively participate in team/organization related ceremonies (system demo, planning, retrospective, review, etc.)
- Align product development with the product future vision, defines goals and accepts user stories and increments
- Contribute to the definition of the product vision, the product concept and the development strategy
- Contribute to the development of the product release strategy
Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English & German
- Comprehensive knowledge of scaled agile methodologies (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in agile software development as a Product Owner
- Understanding of technology improvements (tech debt, refactoring, enabler)
- Experience working in product-based development and understanding the differences from project development
- Understanding of DevOps culture and continuous integration and delivery methodologies
Advantages
- Already worked in Big Data, Data Analytics, Data Economy or Data as a Product Domains
- Experience and knowledge of SAP
- SAFe PO / CSPO / PSPO or other equivalent product owner certificate
