We are looking for IT-savvy and team-oriented reinforcement with the motivation to help shape the digitalization of the city of Leverkusen – as soon as possible and on a permanent full-time / part-time basis – as a
Project Manager IT Services (m/f/d) These are your tasks:
- You are the first point of contact for IT procurement processes, in particular for order clarification, including in coordination with the city’s IT subsidiary
- In addition, you will formulate IT service descriptions for further tendering procedures and funding applications
- You will support the development of digitization concepts, specifications and other procurement documents for decentralized IT liaison staff
- You support these processes through IT project management as required
What you bring with you:
- Qualification for category 2.1 or
- Completion of the administrative course II or
- Completion of a university degree (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) in the field of information management, administration, economics or social sciences, humanities (preferably media and communication sciences), mathematics or
- a comparable field of study with relevant professional experience with IT service providers
That makes you strong:
- You have experience in the procurement of IT products
- Ideally, you have experience in public administration or knowledge of municipal procurement procedures
- You have initial experience in IT project management and/or in the development of digitization concepts
- IT qualifications such as ITIL or software certifications are also desirable

- Remuneration: a salary according to pay group 10 TVöD, which is between € 3,895.33 and € 5,433.63 (gross monthly / full-time), depending on proven professional experience, or a salary according to A 11 LBesG; possibility of an annual performance-related one-off payment
