In this role, you will be responsible for both new business development and renewal management. Collaborating closely with brokers across the Midwest, you will underwrite risks spanning various industries nationwide. Our team focuses on Real Estate, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Wholesale Distribution businesses, employing a proprietary property form for comprehensive coverage.Responsibilities:- Cultivate relationships with key brokers to drive submission activity and ensure profitable growth of assigned portfolio.- Meet or exceed new business production targets while maintaining portfolio profitability and adhering to underwriting guidelines.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and brokers to retain key accounts, coordinating Risk Services & Claims Service plans as needed.- Develop and execute prospect pipelines with trading partners, exploring cross-selling opportunities within the organization.Requirements:- Bachelors degree- 5+ years of Underwriting experience, preferably in Middle Market Property or Multiline background- Strong communication and negotiation skills- Ability to establish a marketplace presence and build trust with brokers- Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteCompensation:The annualized base pay range for this role is $96,944 – $166,190, with additional performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits.Whats in it for You?- Hybrid working model promoting work-life balance- Competitive compensation package and bonus scheme- Opportunities for career development and international mobility- Comprehensive health and wellbeing benefits- Supportive environment fostering diversity and inclusivity- Engagement in shaping a sustainable future for our society and planetJoin Us:At Allianz Commercial, we value diversity of thought and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
