As a Python Developer – GFX IT eRisk, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization dedicated to enhancing electronic distribution channels in the FX Options business. The project aims to implement cutting-edge front office applications, providing robust IT support to meet daily operational needs and develop innovative technical solutions for the global business.
Your main responsibilities:
- Implementing front office applications for the FX Options business
- Building and testing both front-end and back-end components
- Providing ongoing IT support to meet daily operations needs
- Collaborating with the FX Options business and support functions to deliver technical solutions
- Managing eTrading project development for simulation analytics in system ADS
- Building data science-focused analytics features for various trading desks
- Delivering regular feedback on deliverables to IT management
- Working with local and global teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Adhering to Agile development methodology and delivery-driven processes
- Leading and providing guidance to junior team members
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 3 years IT software development experience
- Strong technical knowledge and solid experience in Python
- Experience with Pandas, Numpy, and Flask/Django
- Ability to work effectively with both local and global teams
- Good understanding of Agile development methodology
- Fluent English
- Leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance to junior team members
- A flexible approach to delivery responsibility
- An open-minded attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in machine learning, NLP, and AI
- Experience building FX or rates pricing systems
- Experience with KDB or cloud solutions
