Project Description
You will join an existing small team consisting of an experienced technical team lead. Most of the work will consist of testing deployment pipelines, assessing application performance, and making the necessary code changes.
The project involves
- re-architecting
- re-writing a legacy application called C.Port (Confirmation Portal) in Python.
C.Port is our confirmation portal for derivatives. It is currently a shell/script-based application with a WPF front-end. It ingests a large number of raw files from various sources, loads the data, processes it using older technologies, and generates various reports.
Main requirements:
- Solid experience as a Python developer for medium-scale projects (4+ years of industry experience)
- Familiarity with standard design patterns
- Experience working on a cloud platform
- Proficiency with SQL
- Experience working with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Background in fixed income finance is a plus
