The ideal candidate will have expertise and hand on experience in Elasticsearch, BI Validation, and SQL Scripting along with domain experience in Property and Casualty Insurance. This role requires leading testing efforts to ensure software quality and reliability, aligning with our mission to provide exceptional solutions to clients. Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL Knowledge, Informatica Power Center, Oracle
- Data warehouse experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in implementation of Elastic Search based project development
- Understanding of Elasticsearch Architecture, Query DSL(Domain Specific Language), and Indexing & Mapping.
- Skills to use the tools and APIs (JSON, SOAP/POSTMAN) to validate the data in Elasticsearch. Experience to analyze the transformations/patten.
- Skills to analyze Elasticsearch logs for any issues and performance analysis.
- Good debugging skills to identify the issues with Elasticsearch.
- Ability to documents the test plans, test case, test logs and reports clearly
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Gather and comprehend the specific requirements of the application using ElasticSearch. Understand the search queries and data structure that will be used.
- Prepare test data that mimics real-world usage. Index data into Elasticsearch and ensure the mapping is correct and verify the data is Indexed correctly and searchable.
- Perform CRUD(Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations testing. Test basic and advanced search queries to ensure the results. Measure query response time and throughput.
- Analyze logs to identify the issues. Document the test plans, test cases and test results. Provide required status/reports to the team. Work closely with all team to meet the deadline.
Salary and Other Compensation : The annual salary for this position is $95,000-$135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
