Quality Assurance Engineer II plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our IT products and services. Successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, identifying defects, and suggesting improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Others may be assigned. Writes test plans from written and verbal requirements Executes self-written test plans Writes test reports from the results of self-written tests Uses testing automation, but does not create it Follows testing process, but is not responsible for creating or managing it Provides input for processes and requirements when consulted FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (Specify Revenue/Budget/Expense): N/A SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES If direct report positions are listed below, the following responsibilities will be performed in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Three to five years in a Quality Assurance testing role at commercial or government job Sound knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools Strong communication and collaboration skills Demonstrable experience navigating TN5250-based applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400) Demonstrable experience querying information from IBM DB2i (no DDL required) US Citizenship or Green-card Holder Conifer requires its candidates, as applicable and as permitted by law, to obtain and provide confirmation of all required vaccinations and screenings prior to the start of employment. Office Work Environment Remote Work OTHER Other duties as necessary Compensation and Benefit Information Compensation Pay: $70,096.00-$112,112.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience. Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
