We are best known for Synth Riders, one of the most popular VR rhythm games. We are working on several other VR titles and making VR games for a UGC social platform for some of the world’s most influential VR, music, and technology companies. Candidates must show an aptitude for learning new systems quickly. You’ll be supported by creative leadership and a team of multiple 3D artists. You will work closely with a cross-functional team that involves developers, game designers, sound designers, creative writers, and producers. Minimum Requirements Between 3-5 years of experience designing in 3D. Experience in VR. Full proficiency in Blender as it will be the mandatory tool. Experience in game creation (and a huge passion for games). Able to work with a cross-functional team and in a very collaborative atmosphere. Able to communicate clearly with other members of our team. English written and verbal communication skills. Desired Requirements Knowledge of Substance Designer, Photoshop as preferred additions to the toolkit. Experience in Social Gaming. Experience in Mobile Game Development. Experience with asset optimization. Responsibilities You’ll be working on designing games inside of a social VR platform alongside a team of artists who will work cross-functionally with developers and producers. Depending on your particular artistic strengths, you will engage in any of the following: creating moodboards and mockups, building out basic prototypes, character development, scene development, lighting, animation, or detail work. You will collaborate with the other artists on the team to create rich and interesting gameplay while considering the constraints of the building environment. You’ll be part of a broader cross-functional team, and while there you will be working as part of our art team, with other 3D artists, to help us create our games.
