We are looking for a Remote Full Stack Java Developer application developer to imagine, create, and develop applications to help interact with our customers. Support deployed software by investigating issues and rolling out needed patches Support the team in tier 2 weekly on-call rotation Develop high quality, secure, scalable & maintainable software, abiding by coding standards Review code with other developers to share project and technical knowledge Deploy projects within build and deploy pipeline, includes transitioning first line support to IT Ops team Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA testers to plan and execute in a high-energy Agile environment Participate in technical planning, determine tasks associated with project assignments, estimates and dependencies Work with Enterprise Architecture to design software solutions that supports the Mortgage Insurance life cycle Update and modernize code to the latest supported versions to ensure security, stability, and support Flex to work with new technologies and tools as we explore new ways to deliver business solutions Further develop continuous testing and secure coding standards Effectively communicate project status and deliveries to team and management Mentor and counsel junior teammates Do you have what it takes? Education: Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Systems. Additional experience (2 years) beyond the minimum (below) may be substituted for education beyond an Associate Degree.
