Job Title: Remote IT and Social Media Specialist (Volunteer)

Salary: Starting at per year (equivalent to ZAR 8,000 per month)
Between 9AM-5PM London
Salary Increase on passing three months trial.
Job Description:
Our Client seeks a dedicated and resourceful IT and Social Media Specialist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be multiskilled with a strong background in web design, maintenance, social media creative design, and digital marketing. The candidate must possess their own laptop and internet connection. This role involves managing our Client’s online presence, creating engaging content, and supporting our charitable services.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Design and Maintenance:
Creation of Job boards
2. Creative Design:
Develop visually appealing graphics and content using tools such as Canva, Leonardo, and Microsoft Design.
Create and manage multimedia content for various social media platforms.
Social Media Management:
Oversee and manage company social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement.
Monitor social media channels and respond to inquiries and comments promptly.
4. Digital Advertising:
Plan, execute, and manage social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and engagement.
Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
5. Google Workspace Management:
Utilize Google Workspace tools for collaboration and productivity.
Ensure effective communication and document management within the team.
6. Training and Mentorship:
Provide training and mentorship to team members on IT and social media best practices.
Share knowledge and skills to enhance the overall capability of the team.
7. Charitable Services Support:
Contribute to the online presence and activities of our charitable services.
Assist with the promotion and management of charitable events and campaigns and other needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in web design, social media management, and digital marketing.
Proficiency in Canva, Leonardo, Microsoft Design, and Google Workspace.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, Ecommerce, Shopify, and their respective best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
Patience, honesty, and reliability.
Ability to collaborate with Disabled staff members.
Experience in training and mentoring others is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSC Computer Science or Equivalent
Experience working in a charitable or nonprofit organization.
Certification in web design, digital marketing, or related fields.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
At least one year experience
