Remote Software QA Engineer
Apex Systems is looking for a qualified individual to fill an immediate opening for a Remote Software QA Engineer. Please see the job description below for details of the role.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, log and track defects in bug tracking software
- Assist in associating defects with application behavior
- Train other developers and testers on writing test automation using the framework
- Collaborate and assert preventive quality measurements early in development stages
- Evaluate, build, or request test tools/framework changes
- Provide estimates, reporting and tracking for team’s test deliverables
- Collaborate with business and QA Teams on processes to be automated
- Research and Develop Automation Tools / Solutions to better QA Automation as a whole
- Identify, create, run, and maintain automation scripts for each project that you are assigned
- A qualified individual with be UI Testing primarily
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent level
- 3+ years of Automation testing experience
- Agile methodology experience is required
- JavaScript, Java, and Python are required
- Protractor or similar automation framework
- Basic understanding of DevOps
