Responsibilities The position provides technical development for the Digital Transformation initiatives within MyCatFinanical, Mobile Quote Application and Salesforce Sales & Service modules. This position will provide the ability to deliver on the Digital Transformation to enhance our customer experience. Needs a true developer to work with business tech team to gather requests in service of SF development for SF Sales and Service modules. Not much SF admin work involved in this role, 90% development. Needs a hands-on resource skilled in REST API, Apex. Resource would be a member of the salesforce development team, gather requirements to convert into technical design, solution/develop/deploy responsive web solutions in support of Caterpillar Financial strategic initiatives (Aftermarket, Digital, Connectivity). Need to see and understand big picture – be proactive, including what else could break or potentially go wrong? Ideal Candidate Experience/Skills
- Lightning development [*Not just config, need proven ability to develop custom component/controllers in Lightning]
- Deploy mobile app [*Mobile resource]
- Ionic framework, web components (similar to Java) [*Mobile resource]
- ngular (need to know that framework)
- Object oriented
- Build sites that are mobile
- Strong developer, Platform Developer II Certification (requested)
- pex Development, Soap and Rest
- Strong communication skills, thinks outside of the box
- Would be spending a good amount of time developing, but would also be meeting with business partners, so good soft skills are needed.
Typical Day Core hours are 9:00-5:00. A mix of individual work with a meeting or two a day. Position will require on-call hours. Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Salesforce Certified, Platform Developer II
Technical Skills 5+ years Salesforce development experience. The technical skills required to effectively support this role include APEX development, Salesforce Lightning development, SOOQL, DataLoader API and Salesforce Administration – all required. VisualForce, ANT migration tool required. Salesforce integration experience preferred. Differentiating factor: familiarity with security Salesforce best practices. Soft Skills Ability to work closely with a team. Communication. Engaged with turning business requirements into technical design, development and implementation.
