• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SCADA design and testing. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. • Proficiency with at least one SCADA platform such as Ignition, GE Cimplicity, SEL, Wonderware, SOLV, Isotrol Bluence, Trimark T1-S/Vantage, PVHardware, ETAPro, or OSI PI. Experience with other platforms outside of Renewables will also be considered. • Knowledge of grid interconnection SCADA requirements across various markets and ISOs including CAISO, NYISO, PJM, MISO, and ERCOT. • Experience in integrating SCADA communication protocols, computer interfaces, and media types including MODBUS, DNP3.0, OPC, Fiber, Serial, TCP/IP, Radio, and various devices such as Substation Devices (RTACs, Relays, Meters), Array Devices (Inverters, Trackers, Met Stations, BESS), and remote RTUs from Utilities and other third parties. • Understanding of NERC compliance from a SCADA perspective. • Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize multiple consultants and EPCs. • Capable of leading technical discussions among SCADA vendors, EPCs, equipment manufacturers, utilities, and internal teams.
