Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job:
Compleo Charging Software’s e-mobility cloud platform intents to make the management and commercial operation of public charging infrastructure for business partners as simple and efficient as possible. Alongside with that, Compleo’s product portfolio also provides EV drivers an easy access to charging infrastructure with innovative payment solutions and a huge charging network based on the eMarketplace. To extend Compleo Charging Software’s good market position in the booming market new digitalized and automatized process chains in the sales and service domains are to be designed and developed.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities :
- As an APEX Developer you will develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- You will holistically accompany and influence the software lifecycle from requirements to solution design, development and testing to the productive product in the agile development team with a DevOps approach.
- With your experience you will act as a technical sparring partner of your product owner in the development of the requirements from the booming electric mobility market, amongst other things via refinements of use cases and user stories.
- You customize and configure Salesforce applications, including workflows, process builder, validation rules, and custom objects.
- You optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- You will integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration tools.
- You will write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
- You will stay up-to-date with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
- With your experience you are able to provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders on Salesforce best practices and design patterns.
- You will work with international colleagues in a scaled agile software development environment using SAFe methodology and Scrum.
Qualifications
Experiences and requirements:
Education:
- University degree in Computer Sciences/Business Informatics or similar education
Work experiences – time/seniority/sector:
- Preferably 5+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce developer with expertise in the APEX programming language
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and technologies including Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ideally, experience with AI integrations
Technical/ IT knowledge:
- Salesforce and APEX development
- Git based code repository management systems
- Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, SOSL and Salesforce APIs
Language – with level
- Fluent English
Mobility requirements
- As per need – usually 2-4 weeks per year to Germany or similar
Required Skills and Competencies:
- You love solving complex problems and making applications intuitive to use
- Agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban and ideally SAFe organized you past projects and you internalized their advantages
- You have strong communication skills and willingness to take the ownership on your applications together with your team
- Ideally, you already have experience in the EV charging business
