We are looking for a Project Manager who will plan, organize, and integrate cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. Coordinate the work of other IT professionals and administrative staff to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and deliver the stated goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
· Ability to manage multiple project engagements at one time, setting proper work priorities to keep everything moving forward and on track to meet customer commitments.
· Manage cross-functional project teams, resource allocation, and project execution to ensure successful outcomes.
· Act as the primary communication channel with project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
· Experience and confidence in dealing with client C-Suite stakeholders.
· Support procurement of necessary equipment, software, and resources, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
· Ability to proactively Identify project risks, escalate as needed, and develop mitigation strategies for any issues that may impact project delivery.
· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and budget reports.
· Collaborate with internal teams to respond to RFPs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
· Mentor and support junior project team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
· Lead the development and review of Statements of Work ensuring completeness and correctness.
· Propose improvements to processes used in project planning and delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure, with a focus on IBM Power Solutions, Disaster Recovery and Backup VTL/storage solutions, Network, Security, and hybrid cloud solutions.
· Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
· Management experience leading PM teams.
· Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM). Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Project Online, MS Project) and/or other Project Management tools.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
· Proven experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
