As the Senior Manager, IT Delivery Operations Leader you will be responsible for providing strategic leaders in enabling the transformation of the IT services for the MPP Clients in Optum.Need a self-driven individual who is able to bring thought leadership in enabling a successful operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Act in leadership capacity to manage operational IT RSO Delivery supporting Health Systems CIO
- Act as strategic advisor to the leadership team in identifying and managing executive initiatives and special projects
- Strategic leadership and oversight of the enabling functions for IT services which would include resource management, forecasting, chargeback/cost, vendor management and operational processes supporting delivery
- Use data and analytics to show operational results and be able to identify improvement opportunities.Determine and provide the necessary data and reporting capabilities to enable executive leaders in making thoughtful decisions for the organization
- Analyze and trend cost of delivery which includes labor and non-labor costs.Create and lead initiatives leading to profit improvement
- Analyze and trend quality and SLA data. Work with Delivery Leaders on driving process improvements in IT delivery
- Close collaboration with Finance, IT Technology Leaders, Human Capital Partners to smoothly execute on operations
- Collaborate with cross pillar teams as needed
- Ensures and tracks that initiatives are measured and is supporting the execution of the organization’s strategic goals

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT Operations Management
- 7+ years of IT service delivery models and technology practices
- 5+ years with Finance, budgeting and forecasting capabilities
- 5+ years leading executive meetings and driving results in a matrix organization
- Experience supporting global IT operations and matrix organization
- Background in executive management, consulting, IT delivery, or similar roles
- Proficient in reporting and data tools (ie Excel, PowerBI, Smartsheets)

- Proven outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
