Primary Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain .NET applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes Communicate effectively with other developers and quality assurance analysts. Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed Identify production and non-production application issues Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications Provide technical support and consultation for .NET application and infrastructure questions You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Math, Computer Science / Engineering or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent experience 8+ years of software development experience 4+ years of experience working as a .NET developer working with C# 4+ years of experience working with HTML / CSS / Javascript 4+ years working with relational databases (SQL Server) Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing applications on .NET Core Experience with Javascript frameworks, such as React, Knockout or Vue Experience developing applications from scratch Experience working in an Agile environment Experience working with Microsoft Office suite of tools to support automation of business processes (VBA, etc.) Experience with Azure Dev Ops pipeline developments (CI/CD setup) Experience developing cloud hosted services (Azure, AWS, etc.) *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
