iRonin , or IT Samurai , is an IT professional striving to continuously improve their craft and provide IT services at the highest level . Today we have almost 60 people on board, working from many cities around the world. In Poland, we have permanent offices in Warsaw and Rzeszow .
In 2021, we have grown by 67%, in 2022 by 75%, and counting the whole period since 2018, by as much as +266%!

Your challenges
- Optimization : Analyze current infrastructure and develop roadmaps for short-term, mid-term, and long-term business outcomes, tailored specifically for a large medical company in the USA.
- Modernization : Establish a roadmap and phased new technology adoption plan aligned with customer budget and change risk appetite.
- Execution : Design and implement solutions architecture in collaboration with customer IT teams using agile delivery methods.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, systems administration, or related field.
- Proven track record in managing engineering projects and working within cross-discipline teams.
- Expertise in engineering delivery planning, design, implementation, and operation.
- Experienced with networking platforms routing/switching/spine-leaf/SD-WAN (Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet), firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet), and Cloud Network Security solutions (zScaler, Netskope).
- Knowledgeable in IT Infrastructure and Operations, collaboration, Voice and Video platforms, change control procedures and risk management.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Experience in implementing and managing large-scale infrastructure solutions.
- Understanding of network security design principles.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with Lean/Agile methodologies.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience in IT infrastructure automation and scripting (Gluware, Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of risk, regulatory, and compliance management.
- Awareness of technology modernization trends.
- Industry experience in Financial Services, Health Care, or Consulting.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCIE).
- Advanced skills in Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet technologies.
