To learn more, visit We’re looking for a software engineer who can work collaboratively on a fast-paced team, wants to own their projects end to end, and can find creative solutions to solve hard customer problems. In this role you’ll work closely with Mattermost’s top customers to design, build and ship bespoke features and integrations that help them get the most out of Mattermost. This involves understanding their requirements, rapidly iterating to develop solutions, and deploy them much quicker than traditional product development lifecycles. As a part of this you will identify future features to bring into the core Mattermost product and work with the product & engineering team to do this. Additionally, you will utilize your deep technical knowledge of software engineering, database, infrastructure, and networking to guide customers deploying Mattermost to large scale and highly resilient on-prem installations and private cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure). You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to improve deployment processes and contributing to the development of best practices. Provide deployment and upgrade guidance, utilizing high scale documentation, health checks, loadtest deployment tooling & reference architectures. Assist Customer Success and Support teams with trouble-shooting and incident response Requirements: Proficiency designing and developing software, preferably using Go, Typescript/React and SQL. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers and internal teams. Familiarity with database performance analysis. Understanding of the challenges deploying high availability installations of enterprise software supporting large numbers of users.
