About the project, As a Senior Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading company in Future Energy Home solutions. You’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing microservices in the middleware and backend infrastructure. Your role involves analyzing third-party APIs, mapping data models, and coordinating with solution architects to drive data-driven use cases. Your responsibilities, Analyze third-party APIs and map data models to our system, Develop microservices in the Future Energy Home middleware and backend, Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability, Coordinate with solution architects and developers for data-driven use cases, Ensure clean code and architectures through refactoring and collaboration
Experience with TypeScript and the NodeJS/npm ecosystem, including Express, Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, especially serverless technologies like Lambda and DynamoDB, Familiarity with common web technologies ( REST APIs, JSON) and web development using TypeScript, Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, preferably CloudFormation or SAM, Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab and CI/CD pipelines, Strong communication skills and the ability to work within Agile methodologies, Proven ability to quickly learn new languages and frameworks, Fluent in English
