You’ll be an integral part of our book editing tool team, collaborating closely with designers and engineers to bring new features to life. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be up to:
- Collaborate with our talented designers and engineers to conceptualize, develop, and deploy innovative features from the ground up.
- Enhance the functionality of our cutting-edge, collaborative word processor, continuously expanding its capabilities.
- Create visually stunning book templates tailored for e-readers and print, enriching the user experience and delivering real value to our customers.
- Architect and build highly scalable web applications, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.
- Assess and enhance the performance, resilience, and security of applications in production, driving continuous improvement.
- Take full ownership of your tasks, guiding features from inception to completion with precision and dedication.
- Support the growth and development of your teammates by providing constructive feedback during code reviews and embracing feedback in return.
Main requirements
- Professional experience with NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) databases
- A good understanding of modern HTML and CSS
- Strong test-driven approach to development
- Perfectly fluent in English
- Enjoy working remotely
Nice to have
- Professional experience with building and deploying Single Page Apps
- Knowledge of ShareDB and LaTeX
- Experience with CSS pre-processors, such as SASS or LESS
- Experience with build-chain and deployment automation tools, such as Webpack and Github Actions
