A Software Engineer is focused upon helping us build cloud-native architectures and technologies that delight our caregivers and add strategic value to Providence. They evaluate requirements, estimate costs, and design and implement solutions and services using the latest Azure technologies. We have embraced a microservices application architecture and are looking to extensively use Platform as a Service (PaaS) compute infrastructures and managed services. Or equivalent education/experience 5 years Related experience; software development. Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python or equivalent. Experience with source code control systems such as Git. SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL. Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Azure Devops, TFS, and Jira. Proven track record of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined team. Experience designing and successfully implementing a large project. Preferred qualification: Experience in a cloud computing environment, specifically Azure Experience in building applications using Angular Experience in building applications in a C#/.Net environment Experience in Agile methodologies and CI/CD Why Join Providence?
