Once you’re up and running, you will work with product development team members to develop cutting edge, best-in-class, SaaS applications. On a regular basis, you will program, develop, document, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain our modern web-based applications. What you will do: Take ownership of planning and executing across the full development lifecycle Produce web-based applications that meet the needs of our internal and external customers within an empowered team environment Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to define requirements and drive alignment Utilize various AWS technologies within a primarily serverless architecture Work with technologies such as Python, FastAPI, SqlAlchemy, AWS Lambda/API-Gateway, Aurora MySQL Serverless, DynamoDB, AWS SQS/S3/OpenSearch, Typescript, React, ReactQuery, ReactRouter, Vite, AWS CloudFront Build/maintain APIs and data pipelines, while having the ability to contribute to UI work as needed What you should bring: Bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering, or similar degree 3+ years of relevant experience Strong technical skills along with consideration for factors such as security, performance, and maintainability Prefers a collaborative environment Understands the importance of communication in a remote setting Emphasis on a growth mindset, including both personal development and team growth Knowledge of the insurance domain is a plus Why Work At Zywave Zywave builds market leading SaaS products that disrupt and change the InsurTech space.
