Job Description
The Solutions Architect is responsible for planning designing and implementing organization wide information systems and technologies. The architect should have a full stack development experience to design and support multiple systems ranging from areas like time and attendance, scheduling, financial analytics. Other responsibilities include research, development and application of new information system technologies to support the goals of managing and operating the organization.
Responsibilities
- A technology leader with ability to grasp complex customer requirements and translate them into clear technical solutions.
- Ability to articulate and explain complex issues both in written form and orally.
- Design and test technical architecture and solutions
- Create and deploy successful creative technology solutions for wider adoption using the latest and best technology.
- Passionate technologist consumed by learning trends and technologies that could be game changers.
- Assurance that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices have been applied correctly to the proposed solution.
- The solution delivered will be more detailed than the solution architecture, and will be consistent with the solution design, Platform blueprints and roadmaps, and in compliance with the platform standards.
- Has worked and will work on different layers of the system from database to the service layers to the front-end layers (Full stack).
- Partner with multiple delivery teams operating in Agile fashion to ensure solutions built are aligned to the long-term targets.
- Expected to immediately contribute to critical Time Keeping-related efforts in the Healthcare space
- Drive innovation such as changes in the methods, processes and guidelines within the customer organization or internally.
- Extensive experience of solutioning and leading healthcare related projects.
- Provides overall technical leadership within a structure that is consistently expanding through organization wide system development and departmental utilization of microcomputers.
- Coordinates planning, design, implementation, and technical support of organization wide information systems, networks, and departmental applications.
- Directs the development of the Information Technologies operating budget and maintains necessary controls to assure compliance with budgeted expenses, resources, and staff projections.
- Responsible for the development of organization wide systems standards (hardware, software, network systems) policies and procedures.
- Responsible for development and implementation of information systems disaster recovery plans.
- Develops staff and monitor programs to support production services including staffing, standards, productivity analysis, cost factors, benefits realization, and operations processing.
- Coordinates, develops, and executes program for continual measurement of the organization’s information systems, and communication networks’ performance and effectiveness.
- Ensures the provision of cost efficient information services and systems. Anticipate developments in fields of information technology. Write recommendations for management review of enhancements to existing systems through ongoing review.
- Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.
- Assists in the development of organization-wide systems standards (hardware, software, network systems) policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration and/or Information Systems with course work in Computer Science or equivalent; Masters preferred.
.Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in building solutions for greater adoption by user community
- Should have built at least three solutions supporting more than 10K user base
- An architect who has come from a full stack development background and is comfortable with all layers of the technology.
- Should have 2+ years of experience as a full stack software developers
- 5+ years experience in building productivity solutions
- 5 years of progressive information systems management experience preferably in a health care field.
- Should have 5+ years experience in stakeholder management
- Experience in developing SaaS solutions.
