Position This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development and deployment processes, experience in researching and studying operations, designing, developing software solution, testing, and lifecycle support. What You Will Do Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improve operation by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures. Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Protect operations by keeping information confidential. Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Who You Are and What You Bring 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent experience. Knowledge of Existing production applications and emerging technologies. In-depth experience in one or more of the following languages: Perl (Object Oriented Module pattern), C, C++. In-depth experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular.js, React.js, but preferably Vue.js. Experience with Front-end Development languages: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS/SASS, jQuery and comparable libraries. Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL / MariaDB) Knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems, primarily Windows desktop and Linux based servers. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Desired But Not Required Proficiency in Git and merge request workflows.
