They will translate these requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for technology teams and collaborate with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful project delivery. The TBA will also play a key role in identifying areas for process improvement and recommending technical solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Experience in Medicaid is highly preferred, with a minimum of 5 years required. Responsibilities : Requirements Gathering : Facilitate requirements gathering activities, including requirements and design meetings with customers to discuss system task requests (STRs), enhancements, and project assessment quotations (PAQs) requirements Documentation : Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, issues, and resolutions Technical Specifications : Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams Technical Collaboration : Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs Solution Proposal : Propose innovative and practical technical solutions to address business challenges Alignment and Strategy : Ensure that proposed technical solutions align with the organization’s strategic goals and technological capabilities Liaison Role : Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding of technical requirements Technical Communication : Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Presentations : Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences User Acceptance Testing : Coordinate and facilitate the User Acceptance Test (UAT) with business users, demo sessions, and obtain sign-off on UAT Documentation Maintenance : Create new documentation or maintain existing documentation on system changes Support : Provide day-to-day support to business users and technical staff to address queries and issues related to business functions Development and Testing Support : Support the Development and Testing Teams by clarifying technical requirements and ensuring alignment with business needs Issue Management : Analyze and flag potential issues, working with Technical Leads to manage any scope creep on the projects Rules Management : Maintain reference files (Medical Criteria, Exception Control, etc.) and perform rules authoring and testing within the Rules Management Application (RMA) Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a related role, with a strong technical background. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Medicaid is required Strong technical and analytical skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in technical documentation and business process mapping Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes Experience with Rules Management Applications (RMA) is a plus Proficiency in technical tools and software relevant to the role (e.g., SQL, data analysis tools, software development methodologies) S2Tech is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
