This role is supporting our Digital Experience team with our MPP Client, Allina Health. Allina Health is a non-profit health care system that offers services throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Within Digital Experience, we have 7 different product teams and this position will be aligned to the allinahealth.org (external website) team. The Product Owner is instrumental in the creation, enhancement and maintenance of a product that delivers business/consumer value. As owner of the strategy and vision for the product with key input from stakeholders this position is the first contact for the product to customers and stakeholders. May use the Agile Scrum process framework for managing complex work. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Develop product vision and strategy Lead the development of multi-year strategic product roadmaps for key products and initiatives using customer feedback, stakeholder input, and data/analytics Research and define the customer segments served by the products based on developing a deep understanding of customer goals, the value customers derive from the product, and the business capabilities and strategies of the business domain Conduct benchmarking within the industry and across other industries to identify product improvement opportunities Engage with system-wide employees and teams to achieve a shared vision of product goals and priorities Develop work plans and structures for product strategies. Develop new product offerings Maintain a full product life cycle perspective, and work to balance short-term achievements with long-term goals Responsible for product management activities including leading RFPs (Requests for Proposals), product assessments, product demonstrations, product price estimations, and meeting coordination as appropriate to product initiatives Product oversight and product roadmaps prioritization Work closely with product teams to convey the product vision, continuously verify that the product fulfills that vision (as measured by customer value and business outcomes) and help the team ensure it is building the right product Mentor project team members Facilitate product work teams Prioritize product roadmaps, including enhancements and bug fixes based on strategy, stakeholder input, and data/analytics Provide status regarding product activities to stakeholders Responsible to develop and maintain product documentation of activities, information, templates and forms Identifies and proactively manages risks associated with products Product development Participate in project/scrum teams to deliver product enhancements and bug fixes Collaborate with product/scrum team to ensure software is performing as expected based on strategy and user stories/requirements Develop, lead, and manage small projects utilizing the company’s project management methodology, including Agile Scrum Organize, plan, and schedule assigned project/tasks as needed Customer and vendor management Serves as a key contact to customers and a liaison to Information Technology department as related to product management and integration of products Partners with key internal groups, as well as with external partners and vendors Coordinate and facilitate vendor oversight for product initiatives You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
