Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the design, development, verification, and validation of our cutting-edge products. The successful candidate will be the primary technical interface with our customers, ensuring seamless communication and execution of technical projects. Key Responsibilities: Product Design & Development: Lead the design, development, and validation of products, serving as the main technical contact for customers. Coordination & Monitoring: Manage tasks across various technical disciplines (Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Optical, and Testing) for product development and industrialization, especially in complex, multi-location projects. Project Planning: Develop and coordinate project plans, including release schedules in collaboration with customer PM and relevant functions. Budget Management: Plan, track, and adhere to project activities and budgets, ensuring R&D costs are managed effectively. Risk Management: Oversee technical aspects during risk management activities, ensuring potential risks are identified and mitigated. Technical Support: Act as the primary contact for technical issues and questions from customers. Gate Reviews: Prepare and achieve gate reviews according to process requirements. Milestone Coordination: Ensure project milestones and phases are achieved on schedule. Production Launch Support: Assist in planning for the production launch of new products. Representation: Represent all technical disciplines, including System Engineering roles such as Requirements Engineer and Product Architect. Reporting: Consolidate technical results and present them to customers, providing regular project status updates in internal and external meetings. FMEA Support: Aid in the creation of System-FMEA and Design-FMEA. Project Review & Escalation: Facilitate project reviews and escalate issues to management as needed. Requirement Management: Assign project requirements to different functions and negotiate deviations with customers. Required Skills: Extensive experience in Automotive ECU development life cycle from quote to industrialization. In-depth knowledge of automotive industry standards, processes, and regulations. Proficiency in project management procedures including Risk Management, Problem Resolution, Change and Configuration Management, Escalation Management, and Lessons Learned. Skilled in using project management methods and tools for monitoring/reporting objectives and project status. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical design principles. Familiarity with software development processes and design validation standards. Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent decision-making, communication, and presentation skills.
