We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our team. The qualified applicant will develop and design software applications as part of the Statistical Surveys program for a large federal agency in Alexandria, VA. Remote work options and flexible work schedules are available. This role is for a short-term web development project.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide support to implement interfaces to applications and in updating the client’s website under the guidance of the Principal Engineer
- Support design group efforts to develop web-based applications.
- Aid development of site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 4+ years of related experience developing internet systems, preferably in support of federal government projects.
- Experience developing applications using VS 2019 or higher and ASP.net Core 3.0 API (REST, Restful Webservices).
- SQL server experience in databases 2018 or higher.
- Experience in GitHub and SVN as version control.
- Ability to support server infrastructure and deployments.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related discipline from an accredited college, university, or equivalent work experience.
Desired Skill:
- Experience in AWS deployments and server porting.
