RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop a comprehensive understanding of key accounts, departments, and customers in North America, with a specific emphasis on the F&B sector’s fermentation process. Ensure in-depth knowledge and expertise in Yokogawa’s F&B products and solutions. Develop and implement a sales strategy that outlines specific actions for promoting F&B products and capturing market opportunities. Identify potential growth areas within the F&B sector and devise plans to penetrate those markets. Prepare a tactical and strategic plan for building the pipeline. Create and develop strong/healthy relationships with new prospects. Foster relationships with potential clients, emphasizing the unique value propositions of our F&B solutions. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our offerings. Analyzes and defines customer needs and requirements and provide customer consultation in the development of system specifications and solutions Work with Technical Consultants and Sales Account Manager in developing strategy and closing the orders. Enhance strategic considerations by researching and understanding the F&B customer domain, contributing to informed decision making. Communicates key industry drivers in customer industries, collaborating with sales and Product Management SPECIFICATIONS: Education: MS or BS Chemical Engineering and Benchmarking (e.g. SIRI) preferred Experience: 10+ years of proven food and beverage Operation experience mainly in Supply chain Management, Operations Management, Quality Management, and digitalization Solutions in F&B Ability to understand the F&B customer economics, pain points and expectations based on experience Understand F&B trends and best practices Consult and build credibility with customers based on experience in F&B to create fit-for-purpose value propositions for digitalization solutions Experience with working directly for an end user preferred. Qualifications:
- Must have ability to work independently to promote, plan and execute sales and execution strategies
- Must be able to set and hold priorities between multiple demands (sales and execution) and actions
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Has good organization and problem-solving skills.
- Must have ability to demonstrate Yokogawa’s solution to customers
- Proficient computer skills including familiarity with software programs such as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel
- Ability to obtain TWIC Card
- Familiarity with Yokogawa’s system like ICSS (CENTUM VP & ProSafe-RS), PIMS (Exaquantum), Cybersecurity, Alarm Rationalization and Asset Management know-how preferred
- Requires 30-50% travel (short trips)
