For which tasks (responsibilities)?
The Environment Artist is responsible for creating, modelling, shading and texturing a variety of environmental settings for Dreams Quest Games. This position requires exceptional artistic ability and technical expertise in areas such as Modelling, Texturing, Baking and Game engine integration.
Responsibilities:

Create detailed 3D environmental models and texture maps in line with brief and reference material, including interpreting abstract ideas.

Texture models with realistic and stylized textures using Substance Painter.

Collaborate with game designers and level designers to create cohesive and immersive environments

Implement assets into the Unity game engine.

Optimising the topology of assets by making high poly and low poly assets.

Ensuring consistency of UV mapping and polygonal subdivisions.

Ensure that all assets meet the technical and artistic requirements of the project.

Stay up-to-date with new technology and techniques in environment art
What kind of professional are we looking for?

Strong knowledge of game development pipeline and tools like Blender, Substance painter, Zbrush, Unity 3D is a must.

Understanding of geography, architecture, and measurements.

Able to interpret and follow reference material to create clean, detailed, and accurate 3D environments and sets.

Strong understanding of modularity in assets creation, UV packing, texture baking and fundamentals of PBR textures.

Real-world understanding of proportion, depth, scale, and physical space

Strong creative and problem-solving skills

Proficient in English
