Join Technomic as Vice President of Enterprise Sales Technomic empowers foodservice clients globally with the research, insights, and strategic consulting they need to elevate their business strategies, decisions, and results. We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead our enterprise sales team of 8 direct reports. This role demands a visionary leader who can drive growth, mentor experienced team members, and attract new talent. Role Overview As the VP of Enterprise Sales – Team Leader, you will be pivotal in ensuring the company achieves its topline growth objectives. You will lead a team of sales professionals focused on selling large subscriptions, syndicated report packages, and custom services. This role is perfect for a sales leader who thrives on hands-on selling while mentoring and developing a skilled team. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Directly manage and grow a team of sales professionals selling syndicated products, online subscriptions, and custom service projects. Revenue Growth:
Drive continuous growth in annually recurring revenues (ARR), custom revenues, and overall bookings. Skill Development:
Partner with staff on calls to close business and monitor team sales activity to achieve quota attainment. Performance Management:
Assess staff performance, provide hands-on training, and give clear, supportive, and constructive performance feedback. Product Expertise:
Master Technomic’s product set to independently sell and support direct reports in closing deals. Budget and Forecasting:
Participate in the annual budget process, establish revenue goals, and forecast/report business progress monthly and quarterly. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with the leadership team to support market growth and develop annual quotas, pipelines, and territories. Client Engagement:
Present confidently to both small and large groups, lead new product launches, and participate in sales calls to generate leads and close opportunities. Sales Effectiveness:
Track and analyze sales statistics using tools like Salesforce and Salesloft to maximize effectiveness. The objective is to exceed Technomicās revenue targets. As the Team Leader, you will collaborate with leadership to determine the best team structure and go-to-market strategy. You’ll identify growth opportunities through traditional and non-traditional targets, utilizing our extensive in-house databases and external services. Active participation in sales calls and the ability to move opportunities through the deal cycle are crucial. Over 10 years in B2B sales with direct responsibility for revenue and team management. Specialization:
Preferably experienced in selling online subscription services within a B2B data/intelligence business. CRM Expertise:
Strong knowledge and proven ability in utilizing a CRM, with a preference for Salesforce.com, to maximize sales effectiveness. Performance:
A track record of achieving superior performance metrics. Skills:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills for interactions with customers and staff. Strong decision-making abilities. Leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team. Strategic planning capabilities. Familiarity with effective sales strategies. Ability to train others effectively.
